We are seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor for an exciting opportunity with a successful Cheshire practice.
We are small but successful practice offering services in Family, Private Client, Privacy Law and Litigation, with an excellent reputation within our local area. We have a small but established Family Law department which we are expanding and accordingly seek a new solicitor to help us with this.
The candidate we seek will be an experienced family solicitor with upwards of five years PQE advising on a predominantly privately funded caseload. They should be able to independently run a caseload of family files, to include divorce, ancillary relief and private children matters. Experience of advising agricultural and/or high net worth clients is highly desirable. A proven track record of generating referrals via business development, marketing and networking is essential.

Housing Disrepair Solicitor
Experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive to process good quality Housing Disrepair cases at cheery Cheshire law firm. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of dealing with such cases in volume and show a good billing record. You will be expected to assist in improving and streamlining our current systems and procedures and take over the existing case load from the current fee earner. This is a growing department and there is an opportunity for an individual with drive and ambition to develop and nurture the department with significant scope for career and salary advancement.
Responsibilities and Duties
Process and litigate Housing disrepair cases. Add value to our current procedures. liaise with Partners to develop and grow the department.
Qualifications and Skills
A solicitor with a strong track record in Housing Disrepair cases or a Paralegal/executive with excellent experiment in this area. Your experience will be for at least two years and involve litigating files. We are not looking for solicitors who have dealt with the odd housing file or PI lawyers who have had a disrepair case as part of an asthma claim. You will be fully conversant with all the relevant law and statutes and have made it your business to know all the best tactics to win such cases
