Growing with Stonehewer Moss
Northwich family lawyer Michael Brennan has gone from strength to strength while studying horticulture in the evenings over the past year at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, improving his average exam result in February of 75% to 80% in his June exams, each result earning him commendation from the RHS. Michael is putting his talent for growth to use at Stonehewer Moss solicitors, where he has set up a family law department offering a full range of services for people needing help with family disputes in Northwich.
Michael prefers the round table approach to sorting out family problems, or should that be potting bench? Having qualified in 1993, Michael has the highest accreditation available for family law from both the Law Society and Resolution, the national family lawyers organisation. Since 2006 Michael has championed the collaborative law approach to family law dispute resolution. This method encourages settlement away from Court and was described as follows when Michael was a founder member of a local group of lawyers working together to offer collaborative law :-
“Each person appoints their own lawyer but instead of conducting negotiations by letter or phone the couple and their respective lawyers meet together to work things out face to face. The process can save an awful lot of time without the need for extensive correspondence between solicitors. The couple each has a lawyer by their side throughout the entire process for support and also legal advice.”
