Stephen Houston founded Houston Advisory as a division of Stonehewer Moss having worked for 30 years as a corporate and commercial lawyer in the City and the North West, including ten years as Company Secretary of an Aim Listed technology company, and 2 years as in- house general counsel for a fast- growing software company.
Stephen practiced as National head of corporate for a Top Twenty national UK law firm as well as working internationally in the United States, and held board positions at law firms. Stephen has taken many companies public as well as acting on multiple venture capital and Private Equity rounds and joint ventures.
We are business advisers with backgrounds in law and management consulting. We have worked across many sectors and have particular experience of businesses with intellectual property as a core asset, especially early stage businesses and businesses looking to expand. We work to affordable budgets on fixed fee or retainer basis. Typically, this could be several days a month or more if required. Flexing up and down when needed.
